I have been running my own 'Complementary Therapy' business for the last 8 years, but I have missed being involved in Financial Services. As my daughter now approaches school age I feel this is the perfect opportunity to become involved again and to help Simon in his business.
Prior to becoming a Complementary Therapist I worked for a local building society for over 10 years, with the vast majority of that time as the manager of the local branch. I worked with a wide variety of clients during that time, and developed varied business relationships in different areas of financial planning. I feel that I can add a level of customer service and organisation to help the business run smoothly. The more knowledge I have gained about St. James’s Place, the keener I have become to get involved and to help spread the word of the excellent proposition they provide and we can offer to our clients.
I will be an extra point of contact as this is the most vital element of providing a long lasting and comprehensive ongoing advice service. To help guide you through the changes that will occur in your financial circumstances over the years.
Outside of my working life, I enjoy spending time with my family. I come from a large family, so there is always plenty going on! I also enjoy travel, keeping fit, shows and live music.
As 2019 starts I am now entering my 52nd year in the finance industry and have now completed 28 years as an adviser helping my clients (many of whom have become good friends over the years) to realise their hopes and establish their financial goals by making the most of their money. Over those years I have gained financial experience from working in various finance based companies, including a city stockbroker, industrial and consumer finance companies and several high street banks and building societies, gaining numerous qualifications, including the Diploma in Financial Planning.
I have always strived to enhance the service I can offer to my clients and their families in their financial planning and therefore in 1999 I was delighted to be invited to join the St. James's Place Partnership which meant that I could do so with the support and backing of one of the leading Wealth Management organisations in the UK.
I have always focused on promoting the development of lifelong relationships with my new and existing clients, helping them to secure financial futures for themselves and their families through the breadth of wealth management and financial planning services that I offer. I was very pleased to further this aim when I combined my practice with Simon’s in 2015, a merger which has enabled the solutions we offer to our clients to become even stronger.
As always, based on core values of excellence of service and, above all, integrity, I will provide you with the wealth management solutions that you need to satisfy your needs both now and in the future.
Although some financial solutions are similar I appreciate that your needs are particular to you, with your own financial ideals, which is why I will tailor the services and recommendations that I make specifically for you.
Outside of my working life, I very much enjoy spending time with my wife and family. I am also a keen follower of sport, especially rugby – I even still manage the odd turnout! I am involved with the local volunteer environment group and believe strongly that what you get out of life is greatly related to what you put into it.
I have worked for Francis Wealth Management since June 2018 helping with the writing of financial reports for clients.
Before I had my children, Henry 11 and Jacob 9, I worked as a Financial Adviser for 11 years at various banks, to include HSBC, Santander, Bristol and West and Norwich and Peterborough.
I am friendly but professional and will always do my best for the client.
It seemed a natural progression to return to what I know and having worked with Simon previously, it is great to work with him again. They are a great team.
